Eldon Veryl Wunn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2025, at the age of 82, Eldon Veryl Wunn of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Edwin and Bessie Maragret Wunn (Curry); his siblings, Gaylon Wunn and Gwendolyn Wunn; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Beebee, Phil Lord and Sheryll Wunn.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Althoff; his children, Dennis Wunn of Dallas, TX and Barb Sherman (Pete) of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Luke Sherman and Lydia Sherman; and his siblings, Lonny Wunn (Linda), Collette Beebee and Jeanine Lord.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Butler Funeral Home-Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). The military honors will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
