She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Riehl and Anna Riehl (Cox); and her siblings, William Riehl and Ruth Locke. She is survived by: her children, Seth and Sara Leary (Craig Creado) of London, England; and her grandchildren, Trey, Laurel, Emily, Adrianne and Dominik.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (533 S Walnut St, Springfield, IL 62704).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to AAUW or the Alzheimer's Association in Eleanor's memory.
