She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Taylor and Bessie Shelton Taylor; her husband Gaylen Lael; her siblings, Alan Taylor, Owen Taylor, Guy Taylor, George Taylor, Robert Taylor, Ruth Campbell and Helen Taylor; and her grandson-in-law Brian Bahlow.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Esslinger (Arthur) of Springfield and Steve Lael (Anita) of Springfield, MO; her siblings, Lulabelle Woodrum of Springfield and Ben Taylor of Dixon; her granddaughters, Rachelle Bahlow (Joel), Andrea Peters (Nick) and Stephanie Lewis (Tony); her great grandchildren, Cole, Callie, Cash Peters, Mila and Jack Lewis; her brother Wayne; and her sister-in-law Ann Lael of Springfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
