He was predeceased by: his parents, Ehme R. Schmidt and Emma S. Ackerman Schmidt; and his brother Merle Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Joan Woller; his daughters, Denise Erhard (Keith) and Brenda Tuttle (Tony) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Lauren Kerr (Stephen), Alyssa Heathman (Cameron), Emma Allen (Davis), Austin Tuttle (Christina) and Casey Tuttle (Briley); his great grandchildren, Reese Kerr, Raymond Kerr, Jesse Kerr, Asher Heathman and Cora Heathman; and his siblings, Amy Manwaring (Pat) of Thomasboro, Ruby Nuss (Gary) of Thomasboro, Rose Robison (Roger) of Gifford, Shirley Waters (Dave) of Urbana, Delmar Schmidt (Bev) of Gifford, David Schmidt (Peggy) of Fisher, Danny Schmidt (Chelle) of Hoopeston and Doug Schmidt (Gina) of Penfield.
