She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearltina Farmer and James Arnold; her son Shane Young; and her siblings, Glendora Arnold and James Arnold Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Willie Essex; her sons, Tori Arnold, Jaqarius Essex, Zymarion Essex and Zarvarious Essex; her stepdaughter Ebony Smith; and her siblings, John Arnold of Cahokia, IL, Dolly Sheard (Carl) of East St, Cheryl Arnold of East St, MaryAnn Devine of Belleville, IL, Alisa Arnold of Cahokia, IL and Fantesha Watts. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, I great-grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
