He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry R. Coleman and Odessa Coleman (Dowe); and his sisters, Norlene Davis, Pauline Perry, Betty Johnson and Emma Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne L. Mason; his children, Stephanie Y. Coleman of Arizona, Floyd W. Coleman (Dana) of Springfield and Dwayne D. Coleman of Springfield; his grandsons, Nicholas M. Warfield, Coleman and Floyd M. Coleman; and his great grandchildren, Kamaree Coleman, Michael Coleman, Milyn Coleman, Nicholas Warfield, Anaja Smith, Talaya Warfield, Elijah Johnson, Kamryn Warfield and Jaydah Atkins. He is also survived by his godchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (2208 E Kansas St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
