He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gready and Ruth Gready (Lee). He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Hall; his brother Paul Gready of Tucson, Arizona; his grandchildren, Amelia, Isabella, Lyla Milam, Parker "Gage" and Gannon Bartos; and his nephew Thomas Gready.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church (241 W Court St, Paris, IL 61944). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM and on Sunday, February 7th 2027 at 11:00 AM.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to an animal rescue of the donor's choice.
