He is survived by: his wife Carol "Susie" Downey; his children, Joni Limper (Phil) and Jeff Kinner (Shelly); his grandchildren, Karissa Lair (Nathan), Brian Limper, Brittany Henton (Matt), Tayler Kinner (Sam Mitchell) and Brett Limper; his sister Sue Limback (John); his niece Amanda Strader (Craig); his nephew Travis Limback (Megan Sha); and his great-nephews, Max May and Colby Strader.

Memorial contributions may be made to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight or to the Animal Protective League.
