He was predeceased by: his parents, David Leming and Mary J. Williams Leming. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen E. Pieper; his daughters, Kim Matrisch (Ron) of Rochester, Jennifer Power (Matt) of Springfield and Laura O'Neill (Tyler) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Nate, Hannah Matrisch, Lexi, Connor, Lleyton, Kayleen, Piper Power, Liah and Molly O'Neill; and his siblings, Linda Johnson of Springfield and Danny Leming (Anna) of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by two aunts and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
