He is survived by: his mother Margaret Bolt Wood (Bolt) of Dallas Texas; his brother Alan V. Wood; his sister-in-law Renee D. Wood; his nieces and nephews, Zoe N. Wood and Braeden A. Wood of Waukee, Iowa; his sister Barbara L. Figarelli (Joe A. Figarelli); his niece Sophia N. Figarelli; his nephew Joseph A. Figarelli of Rowlett, Texas.; his uncle Gerald Leon Bolt of London Mills; and his aunts, Alice Bolt Curless of Washington and Judy Wood Herr of Livermore.
In January 2022, Gary was diagnosed with the Covid virus and pneumonia.
