He is survived by: his wife Michele Seelbach of Springfield; his daughters, Angela Agnich (Mike) and Sadie Samson (Karl); his son-in-law Shawn Darr; his grandchildren, Macie Agnich, Ashlyn Agnich, Andrew Samson and Max Samson; and his siblings, Eugene Seelbach, Virginia Bensch, Gale Harms, Gwen Jennings, Gloria Gietl, Geri Adams and Geoff Seelbach. He is also survived by one uncle; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to HSHS Foundation for Jenna M. Seelbach at St. Johns College of Nursing.
