He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Blade and Stella Blade (Brandvold); his brother Dale; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Blade. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Blade (Dugan); his children, Carol Yochem (Darryl) and Douglas Blade (Patricia); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Wood (Thomas), Andrew Yochem, Matthew Blade and Allison Blade; his sister-in-law Donna DeWaele; his nephew Gray Pierson (Cindy); and his nieces, Paula Walker (Dan) and Karen Clark. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
