We announce the death of George D. Blaskie of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 73. George will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Blaskie and Vicki Blaskie (Stankavich). He is survived by: his sister Tracie Blaskie of Springfield. He is also survived by cousins; and many dear friends.
