He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick O. Criminger and Dorothy Barnes Criminger; and his brother Frederick O. Criminger, Jr.. He is survived by: his nephews, Fred W. Criminger (Tammy), Chris Criminger (Sandy) and Keith Criminger (Valerie); and his stepchildren, Monica Daniels, Marlene Umbach (Bill) and Mark Grigiski (Lisa Meyers) of Riverton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
