Gerry Maxey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerry Maxey of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sexton and Vermalene Smith Sexton; her husband Edward Charles Maxey; her son Rick Maxey; and her granddaughter Nicole Maxey.
She is survived by: her children, Kayla Maxey of Springfield, Gerri Lynn Murdock (Randy) of Moline, Julie Smith (Tim) of Salisbury, IL and Edward C. Maxey II (Lee Ann) of Pawnee. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
