He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen M. Orr and Grace E. Orr (Brooks); his wife Virginia L. Niebal; his son Daniel E. Orr; and his siblings, Colleen Lancaster, Donald, Eugene, James and Bill Orr.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Patricia Michaels (George) of Houston, TX; his siblings, Carl Orr (Myra Jean) of Springfield and Shirley Kansteiner of Quincy; and his grandson Tom Sommers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2001 N 1st St, Springfield, IL 62702).
