He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Mary Stirmell, Sr. (Guzzardi); and his brother Chris Stirmell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne of Springfield; his children, Russell Stirmell (Dione) of South Elgin, Robyn Cornelissen (Mark) of Hoffman Estates, Bradley Stirmell of Chatham and Steven Stirmell of Hermitage, TN; his grandchildren, Brittany, Taylor Stirmell, Danielle, Jacklyn Elliott, Lauren Meilahn (John), Cody Schiferl and Madelyn Stirmell; and his sister Gloria Ewert (Al) of Belleville. He is also survived by three nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
