With sadness, we share the passing of Harvey Byron Lloyd Jr. of Springfield, Illinois. Harvey, born on March 1, 1931, passed away on August 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lloyd and Catherine Lloyd (O'Neil); his wife Eleanor Ann Bradley; his daughter Patrice "Patty" Perry; his sisters, Barbara Fletcher, Patricia Albanese, Marilyn Anderson and Shirley Watson; and his granddaughter Michelle Truesdale.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Schmitt of Springfield, Bobbie Barrett (Cathy Huntoon) of Homer Glen, Colleen Lauter (Stephan) of Gainesville, FL, Michael Lloyd (Deanna "Dee") of Indianapolis, IN, Byron "Pepper" Lloyd (Deanna) of Rochester and Bradley Lloyd (Jodi) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Missi Searcy (Daron), Tom Barrett, Megan Lloyd (Erik Miller), Zach Lloyd, Justin Lloyd (Jenna), Reagan Worth (Zach), Rob Perry (Jessica), Patrick Perry, Cassie Lloyd, Patti Lloyd, Stephan Lauter, Matt Lauter and Chris Lauter; and his siblings, Mary Francis (Duke) of Springfield and William Lloyd of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
