It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Heather Joye Knudsen of Springfield, Illinois, born in Kingsville, Texas, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Larry Mayse of Alpharetta, GA and Susan Nordsiek (Golembeck) of Springfield, IL.; her husband Arthur Menu of Springfield, IL.; her stepmother Linda Mayse; her daughter Madison Knudsen (Fidel Pico); her grandchildren, Easton and Kai of Abingdon, MD.; her grandmothers, Dixie Mayse of Springfield, IL. and Patricia Golembeck of Springfield, IL.; and her uncles, Larry (Connie Golembeck), Ed (Nancy Golembeck), Randy (Sue Mayse) and David Mayse of North Carolina. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
