In loving memory of Helen Marie Maggiore of Springfield, Illinois, who departed this world on May 20, 2025 at the age of 82. Helen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Helen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Helen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Knoedler and Imogene Knoedler; and her siblings, Joseph Knoedler and Elizabeth Vouaux. She is survived by: her significant other Richard Maggiore; her sons, Dr. Todd A. Maggiore (Theresa) of Springfield and Jeremy J. Maggiore (Michelle) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Porter Maggiore and Isabella Maggiore; and her sister Kathy Hawkins (John) of Buffalo, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Christ the King School and Simmons Cancer Institute.
