She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Young Williams and H. E. Williams; and her son Robert L. Sample. She is survived by: her spouse Lindon "Lyn" F. Sample; her daughter Judith A. Veale; and her children-in-law, James R. Veale and Beatrice Sample. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1440 Monument Ave, Springfield, IL 62702).
