She was predeceased by: her parents, Vonley Hewitt and Ella Hewitt (Clardy); her husbands, Clarence Huyear and Elmer "Chalk" Lynn; her children, Gerry Huyear, Betty Brese (Gene) and Brenda Muench (Tom); and her siblings, Marie Snidle (Howard), Betty Starkweather (Jason), Grace Huyear (Harold), Frances Wiles (Earl) and Edwin Hewitt (Evelyn).
She is survived by: her son Joseph Huyear (Diane). She is also survived by six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home (260 Woodlawn Dr, Carlinville, IL 62626). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church (2010 E 1st S St, Carlinville, IL 62626). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at the New Calvary Cemetery (18552 State Rte 4, Carlinville, IL 62626).
