He is survived by: his wife Ronda Fraser; his daughters, Jennifer Kanady (Mark Seeger) and Ruth Perez (Daniel); his stepson Deric Wisleder; his grandchildren, Ian, Eli Perez, Carlissa Easton and Calen Sisk; his brother James Kanady (Mary); his niece Karilyn Whalen (Mathew); his great-nephews, Otis and Oliver Whalen; his nephew Michael Kanady (Robin); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mitchell and Kelsey Kanady.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
