He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jacob and Dolores Spencer Kornfeld; and his son David Kornfeld. He is survived by: his wife Maureen "Moe" Kornfeld of Springfield; his daughter Laura Colantino (Brad) of Loami; his grandchildren, Angelo of Loami, Vincent of Loami, Louis of Loami, Alyssa Colantino of Loami and Ian Kornfeld of Springfield; his great grandchild Phoenix Kornfeld; and his sisters, Jeannie Tomasino of Clearwater, FL and Janie Hutek (Chuck) of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers, American Heart Association, or American Cancer Society.
