He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Walker and Dorthea Walker (Johnson); his wife Jowanna James; and his grandchildren, Isabelle and Jackson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Suzanne Bartlett (Sean), Stephanie Beam (Tim) and Hilary Bush (Dale); his grandchildren, Mike, Mackenzie, Jacob, Taylor, Madi, Morgan, Dan, Beau, Levi and Elliott; his sister Sandra Blakley (Dallas); his niece Belinda Adelman; and his nephew Derek Blakley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church.
