He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Curtis and Mary Curtis (Vaughn); his son Joey Vespa; and his adoptive parents, Rose Abel and Bud Abel.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Smith; and his children, Nicole Elfgen (Thomas), James Aaron Curtis, Phil Vespa (Brittany), Shawn Vespa, Jared Curtis and Jamie Curtis. He is also survived by two sisters; several grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Comfort Inn & Suites.
