James E. Norris Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Norris of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward M. Norris and Marguerite M. Norris (Miner); his siblings, Patty, Tom and Will Norris; and his nephews, Rick and John Cadagin.

He is survived by: his children, Jim Norris (Eileen) of Springfield, Karen Gerdes (Mark) of Springfield, Mike Norris of Bailey, CO, Patrick Norris of Aliso Viejo, CA, Steve Norris of San Clemente, CA, Jason Norris (Jenny) of Springfield, Jeremy Norris (Julie) of Reelsville, IN and Anne Bell (Brad) of Pawnee; his brothers, John Norris and Chuck Norris (Sharon); and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Norris, Patricia "Pat" Snodgrass, Kathy Cadagin, Patricia Cadagin and Peggy Cadagin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Convent Retirement Fund or Inner City Mission.
