He was predeceased by : his parents, John Eagan and Dorothy Eagan (Bryant); and his sisters, Sandra Pharris and Cheryl Eagan. He is survived by : his children, John Eagan (Michelle) of Springfield, Jill Williams (Nick) of Springfield and Jen Whitehead (Tim) of Geneva, IL; his grandchildren, Gage, Jordan, Avery, Dylan, Ella, Gavin, Harper and Emma; and his great grandchild Phoenix. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Butler Funeral Home-Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
