He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex and Mary Martin Sr. (Bartolozzi); his wife Marilyn Ann Kerske; and his son-in-law Terry Myers. He is survived by: his daughters, Leigh Ann Myers of Williamsville, Stephanie L. Danielson (Robert) of Springfield and Tracy J. Leka of Sherman; his grandchildren, Andrea Kuhlman (Dan), Alisha Riggen (Chris), Caitlyn Danielson, Alexandria England (Rowdy), Taylor Danielson, Zane Danielson and Chase Leka; his great grandchildren, Samuel Kuhlman and Tori Riggen; his brother Alex Martin Jr. of Peoria; and his uncle John Bartolozzi (Barbara) of Glenarm. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Cabrini Church (1020 N Milton Ave, Springfield, IL 62702). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Cabrini Church, American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
