James C. Sexton Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 20, 2025, at the age of 87, James C. Sexton of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel George and Mary Irene Sexton, Sr. (Cappello); his wife Kathryn Sue Anderson; and his siblings, Noel George Sexton, Jr. and Barbara Ann Dowis.

He is survived by: his children, James Sexton, Jr. of Aurora and Melinda Collins (Jerry) of Pleasant Plains; and his grandchildren, Grant, Sydney, Jace and Jimmy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
