He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Jr. Skube and Dorothy Skube (Price); and his brother Mark Skube. He is survived by: his wife Edith "Edie" Skube of Springfield; his daughter Valerie A. Rife (Chris) of Springfield; his granddaughter Emily Rife; his stepmother Louise Skube of Springfield; his siblings, Janice Butler (John "Jack") of Springfield, Mary Jo Wasser (Stanley) of Springfield, Denise Skube of St. Louis, MO and Michael Skube of Durham, NC; and his sister-in-law Kris Skube of Edmond, OK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
