With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janet Ann Carey of Springfield, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard A. Dressendorfer and Marjorie Dressendorfer (Bishop); her siblings, Karen Kay Conley, Henry E. and James M. Dressendorfer; and her son Marc E. Carey.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Carey; and her sons, Michael L. Slater Jr. (Lisa) of Sherman, IL, William Scott Slater of Sherman, IL and Brian P. Carey of Bloomington, IL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
