He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his children, Jerry "Beaver" Kennedy Jr. (Valerie), Steve Kennedy (Renee), Teresa Villaran (Yuri), Tony Hopp (Doria), Rusty Kennedy (Laura), Tina Stowers (David) and Jennifer Hopp; his son-in-law David Lumsden; and his pet Ruby. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
