It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome E. Michaud of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Michaud and Delilah M. Michaud (Hasley); and his siblings, Jackie Wallin, John Michaud, Jim Michaud, Honey Robinson and Jeanette Marthaler.
He is survived by: his children, Annette E. Young (Christopher) of Springfield, Thomas J. Michaud (Danette), Jerome M. Michaud (Cindy) of Cedar Park, TX and David A. Michaud (Michelle) of Crystal City, MO; his grandchildren, Christina Spa, Tony Spa (Ashleigh), Michael Michaud (Anna), Emily Meilstrup (Justin), Jeffrey Michaud, Steven Michaud, Austin Spa, Sophia Michaud and Jack Michaud; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Haleigh, William, Amarhi, Ava, Eloise and Archer; and his siblings, Thomas P. Michaud (Mary Jane) of Savage, MN and Dianne Ryan (Tom) of Blaine, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Breakthrough T1D (Juvenile Diabetes); Autism Speaks; or to St. Agnes Catholic Church.
