She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. White and Josephine A. White (Pekol). She is survived by: her husband Larry E. Lester; her daughter Michelle Coffin (Harry) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Joshua Michael Scott, Shelby Ann Scott, Abby Nicole Scott, Savannah Riley Coffin and Macklin Cedric Coffin; her niece Sirena Gerber; her sister-in-law Nancy White; her son Michael Joseph Scott; and her brothers, Georgie, Joseph, James White and George L. Scott, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Old Salem Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
