It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ellen Tarvin of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tarvin and Shirley Tarvin (Vanus); and her brother Michael Tarvin. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Tarvin of Springfield, IL, Leigh Ann Tarvin of Springfield, IL and Valerie Miller (Dave) of Gays, IL; her nieces and nephews, Levi, Jeremy and Nyssa; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Taya, Lincoln and Brinley.
Memorials in Jo Ellen's honor may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
