She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Los and Gertrude Los (Tritz); and her sister Lorna Sobieski. She is survived by : her husband Dan; her brother Fred Los (Helen); her daughter Carrie Sluga; her son-in-law Dan Sluga; and her grandchildren, Aili, Frank, Gwendolyn and MaryGrace.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home-Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (1725 S Walnut St, Springfield, IL 62704).

Donations can be made to the APL in Springfield, IL, where she got her best buddy, Rocky.
