He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mifflin and Beulah Mifflin (Spurlock); his wife Barbara Prater; his siblings, Henry, Robert Mifflin and Mary Freeman; and his granddaughter Caroline Mifflin.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Mifflin of Gilbert, AZ, Mark Mifflin (Marcia) of Springfield, David Mifflin (Shaun) of Jacksonville and Lisa White of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or Springfield First United Methodist Church.
