John C. Sexton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Sexton of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Alberta Qualls Sexton; and his siblings, Thomas Sexton and Ann Sparrow. He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Maier of Springfield; his children, Mary Beth Sexton of Springfield, Anne Marie Lawler (David) of Auburn, Matthew Sexton (Jeannie) of Overland Park, KS and John Sexton (Laura) of San Diego, CA; and his sister Patricia "Tish" Graves of Lake St. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
