It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lovekamp of Springfield, Illinois, born in Beardstown, Illinois, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Lovekamp and Carol J. Lovekamp (Bergman). He is survived by: his wife Cleta Lovekamp of Springfield; his daughters, Tegan Bree Lovekamp of Charleston, IL and Tristen Ann Lovekamp of Springfield; his sister Robin Mahnken (Scott) of Springfield; his niece Summer Pool of Springfield; his nephews, Aaron Dufrene of Williamsville, NY, Preston Vaughn of Nebraska and Joshua Vaughn of St. Louis; his sons, Jackson and Gabriel; and his pet Yoshi.
