John P. Ciotti Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P. Ciotti of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Ciotti and Lula Ciotti (DeMarco); his son Jon P. Ciotti; and his sister Dolores Ciotti. He is survived by: his wife Joan W. Ward of Springfield; his children, Jan Hankins (Arch) of Chatham and Jim Ciotti of Springfield; his daughter-in-law Carol Ciotti of Cookville, TN; his grandchildren, Jonathan P. of Cookville, TN and Carolyn N. Ciotti of Cookville, TN; his siblings, Josephine Albright of Springfield, Judy Ciotti of Springfield, Donna Nall of Springfield, Bill of Springfield and Dick Ciotti (Nora) of Springfield; his close friend Craig Law; and his pet Dusty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League or a charity of the donor's choice.
