He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John F. Summers and Ruth A. Patterson; his wife Darlene E. Nunes; his daughters, Diane Summers of Chatham, Joni Ryan (Robert) of Williamsville, Shari Bearden (Gary Britz) of Divernon, Lori Richards (James) of Divernon, Lisa Linehan of Springfield and Mindy Summers (Scott Pillsbury) of Springfield; his sister Janet Vossberg of Minnesota; and his son-in-law Mark A. Bearden. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
