He was predeceased by: his parents, William Powers and Gertrude Hutchens Powers; and his siblings, David Powers and Linda Smith. He is survived by: his wife Peggie S. Underwood; his children, Emily, Joseph, Brendan and Michael; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
