He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Richards and Verna Richards (Craig); and his son John William Richards. He is survived by: his children, Scott W. Richards, Kathryn A. Richards, Christopher A. Richards, Monica N. Kennedy (Jonathan) and Sara E. Damm (Dalton); his grandchildren, Emmett, Hudson Kennedy, Devon Richards and Katreena Runion-Richards; and his sisters, Phyllis and Joyce.
