He was predeceased by: his grandfather Joe; and his mother Catherine Reisch Dirksen. He is survived by: his father Theodore J. Dirksen; his daughters, Jenny Taylor (Chuck) of Springfield and Jill Scott (Donnie) of Riverton; his grandchildren, Jessica Taylor (Adam Riplinger), Clayton Taylor (Abbie), Bradley Scott (Renae) and Brittany Scott; his great grandchildren, Samuel Scott and Kendall Taylor; and his siblings, George Dirksen, John Dirksen, Elizabeth Dirksen, Martha Bunn, Cathy Bingham and Mary Lindberg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
