He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl and Edna Irene Landers (Collins); and his brother David Landers. He is survived by: his wife Judith Whalen; his children, Joyce Collier (Tim) of Greenwood, IN, Janet Weile (Tom Bechtel) of Indianapolis and Jeffrey Landers (Tammy) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Makenzie and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Cora, Ana, Chandler and Chloe; and his sisters, Clara Lowery of Indianapolis and Audrey "Jeanie" Feagans of Springfield, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
