He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fassero and Lorene Fassero (Mc Gillick); and his sisters, Sharon O'Brien and Karen Krueger. He is survived by: his wife Karen Fassero of Springfield; his children, Jeff Fassero (Cathy) of Scottsdale, AZ, Finn Fassero (Cindee) of Springfield, IL and Angela Fassero Simmons (Greg) of Athens, OH; and his grandchildren, Trevor Fassero, Blake Fassero, Chelsea Hirschman (Grant), Megan Fassero, Lindsey Fassero (Mike Farmer), Eric Simmons, Tucker Simmons and Ryan Simmons. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church or the American Legion Post #32.
