Joseph Felber Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Felber of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Felber and Virginia Staples Felber; and his sister Patricia Sims. He is survived by: his son Benjamin Felber (Cynthia) of Chatham; his grandsons, Keeghan Felber of Springfield and Chase Felber of Hutto, TX; and his sisters, Jeanne Dennis of Auburn and Pamela Dennison (Robert) of Dawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
