He is survived by: his children, Dennis McCormick (Marcia) of Springfield, IL, Mike McCormick (Susie) of Sherman, IL, Tim McCormick (Ana) of San Tan Valley, AZ, Dick McCormick (Maura) of Springfield, IL, Susan McCormick of Springfield, IL and Lisa Huff (Brian) of Lincoln, IL; and his siblings, Theresa McCormick of Madison, WI and Jim McCormick (Carol) of Ames, IA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home & Cremation (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (245 N Amos Ave, Springfield, IL 62702).
