He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe and Jane Semanik of Springfield. He is survived by: his wife Janet of Springfield; his son Rob (Jill) of Springfield; and his sister Pamela Semanik. He is also survived by grandson; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Joe requested donations be made to the Mini O'Beirne Crisis Nursery in Springfield or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
